First Lieutenant Jackson visits MCHS

First Lieutenant Terry Austin Jackson visited Marshall County High School to present to an American flag to the Advanced Placement English class and to the English IV Honors class in appreciation of their support while he was deployed to Balad AB, Iraq.

The students had sent letters and cards to Jackson during his last deployment. The flag he presented was flown during his last C-130 Hercules combat mission in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He also shared pictures of the base and countryside of Iraq as he discussed his job.
