The Junior Auxiliary of Lewisburg is collecting suitcases for the Department of Human Services' Foster Children. JAL is asking everyone in the community to clean out their closet and donate any luggage, backpacks, suitcase & other bags that they may not need, use or want any more for these foster children. (New suitcases are also welcome.)

Most foster children go to foster homes with nothing more than a grocery bags or trash bags full of their personal items. JAL is looking to give these kids a little something more rather than just plastic bags to carry their belongings in to their new homes.

If you have any luggage, backpacks, suitcase or bags to donate to JAL Suitcase Drive please bring them to the JAL Community Health & Fitness Fair on Saturday March 3, 2007 at Lewisburg's Columbia State site or drop them off with Missy Willis at Stan McNabb between now and March 3rd.
