The Alzheimer's Association Marshall County Support Group will meet on the second Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. at the Marshall Co. Senior Citizens Center located at 230 College St. in Lewisburg. Light refreshments will be provided.

The Marshall County Soil Conservation District will hold its annual tree giveaway this spring. If you are interested in receiving free Southern Red Oak and Loblolly Pine trees, call 359-6268.

The Belfast Lions Club is hosting a barbecue dinner March 10, 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Belfast Lions Club Building. The cost of plates will be $8.00 each. Whole Boston Butts will be available for $25.00.

The GED Class Practice Test will be given Saturday March 10, 8:30 a.m. at the Marshall County Adult Learning Center. For more information call 359-7609.

Marshall County Moms on a Mission will be having a bake sale Saturday March 10 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at NAPA Auto Parts on West Commerce, to raise money to send Easter care packages and cards to deployed soldiers. Cornersville Police Chief Todd Bone will be conducting a safety program at Cornersville Elementary School Wednesday March 14, 2007 8:30 a.m.

There will be gospel singing at Central Park (Old Connley School) Saturday March 17, 2007 3:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. featuring eight groups.

The Marshall County Community Theater will be holding auditions for adults for the Rogers and Hammerstein musical "Oklahoma" March 19-20 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Dixie Theater.
