The Marshall County Soil Conservation District will hold its annual tree giveaway this spring. If you are interested in receiving free Southern Red Oak and Loblolly Pine trees, call 359-6268.

The Marshall County Community Theater will be holding auditions for adults for the Rogers and Hammerstein musical "Oklahoma" March 19-20 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Dixie Theater. Those auditioning will be asked to sing and do a cold reading. Directed by Will Lambert, the play will open June 22. For more information e-mail Lambert at will@wcs.edu.

The American Legion Auxiliary will meet in regular session, March 19, 2007 at the Village Manor, with breakfast at 9:00 A. M. The program will be on membership and community service.
