Additionally, over 500 members were awarded the prestigious FFA State Degree which is awarded to students who demonstrate extra-curricular achievements and success in their supervised agriculture experience programs.
FFA members from the Cornersville FFA Chapter were among the groups recognized and were at the convention to accept their award.
Joining them for the closing session were representatives from Farm Credit Services of Mid-America (FCS), a perennial sponsor of the FFA State Degree program. "It's amazing to see the level of skill and commitment that these students possess. We're committed to agriculture for the long-term and can think of no better way to demonstrate this than through the FFA sponsorship," said Ricky West, Vice President of Financial Services with FCS.
