McElyea and Cook announce engagement

RoxAnne McElyea and Thomas Keith Cook are happy to announce their engagement.

RoxAnne is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Young of Culleoka, and Paul Baxter of Shelbyville. She is the granddaughter of Ethel Baxter and the late Thomas Baxter of Lewisburg and R.C. Gambill and the late Nell Gambill of Petersburg. RoxAnne is a former resident of Lewisburg and is a graduate of Marshall County High School.

She currently resides in Shelbyville and is employed by Bemis Flexible Packaging.

Thomas is the son of Gary Cook of Unionville. and Shirley Cook of Wartrace. He is the grandson of Dorothy Cook and the late Willie E. Cook, and the late Mary Lauderdale of Unionville and the late Oscar Lee Sharp of Lewisburg. Thomas attended Community High School in Union-ville.

He is employed by Tyson Foods in Shelbyville where he also resides.

A June 23, 2007 wedding date has been set at the Edgemont Baptist Church in Shelbyville.
