Elliot Gordon performs during Belmont School of Music

Recently Marshall County freshman Elliott Gordon was on stage along with other band members and students who were selected by Evan Margol, a senior at at the School of Music at Belmont University. Margol is a student of Mr. Stan Lassiter and this recital was a partial fulfillment of the requirements for he Bachelor of Music degree. Gordon performed during the selection 'For the Love of God' by Steve Vai.

These musicians are a part of the growing body of students who are motivated to discover their life's passion at Belmont University in Nashville. This fall Belmont ranked as one of the 10 best colleges and universities in U.S. News & World Report and is now ranked 10th in the South in the 'Best Universities-Masters' category.
