Joey King

Joey King, Communication Director for the local 911 Service, with the Emergency Medical Service, spoke at the AARP meeting recently. He urged everyone to place a list of all medicines a person takes, along with pertinent medical information, living wills, etc., sealed in a plastic bag, in the refrigerator, as that is where they look if there is no one at home with the patient. He also explained the importance of Air Evac, since they can get a patient to Nashville much quicker than an ambulance can, saving valuable time in many cases.
