Marshall County Tribune: Story: 4-H members attend Project Fair (05/23/07)

4-H members from seven counties traveled to compete at the Central Region Area 3 4-H Project Fair on May 16 at Columbia State Community College in Columbia. From dairy to nutrition and fitness, 4-H'ers spotlighted their projects through demonstrations or exhibits.

Marshall County was well represented by five participants. Sara Mitchell, Cornersville Elementary, received first place in the Horticulture/Garden demonstration;

Jessica Dunn, Cornersville Elementary, received third place in the Nutrition/Health/Fitness demonstration; Casey Hill, Chapel Hill Elementary, received third place in the Environmental Science demonstration; Lauren Pegg, Chapel Hill Elementary, received first place in the Performing Arts and Recreation demonstration; and Rachel Whaley, Forrest School, received third place in the Citizenship Exhibit division.
