This Spring, the Marshall County Soil Conservation held its annual tree giveaway.

A total of 2,500 trees were given out with approximately 1,800 of these being given to the students of Marshall Elementary, Cornersville Elementary, Oak Grove Elementary and Chapel Hill Elementary.

The dstrict greatly appreciates all the interest our school system has shown in our tree distribution program.

In celebration of Earth Week, the district made donations of $100 to each of the three county high schools in continued support of their agriculture programs. Forrest High School and Cornersville High School will use these funds for soil judging materials. Marshall County High School will put theirs towards at class night.
