Hamilton appointed to state board of funeral directors

Dennis Hamilton, formerly of Marshall County, has been appointed by Governor Phil Bredesen to the State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers for a term of four years. The board regulates funeral directors, embalmers, and funeral establishments.

It is the mission of these offices to protect the public health, safety, and welfare by ensuring compliance with the statutes and rules governing the funeral industry.

Dennis has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer for thirty-two years and is the General Manager of Memorial Park Funeral Home and cemetery in Memphis. Dennis is the son of Duke and Billie Hamilton of the Mooresville community.
