Betty B. Freeman, 68, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at her residence.

Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Lester and Loucile Barksdale Bradford.

She was a member of the College Hills Church of Christ, a Tennessee Walking Horse breeder, former president of the Lebanon Jaycettes, former President of the Year Round Garden Club, former board member of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeder Association. She was the breeder of World Grand Champion Tennessee Walking Horses "Generator's Santana" and "Ironworks". She was College Hill Church of Christ's Sunday School treasurer and bus drive, as well as a former member of the Wilson County Agricultural Committee.

She is survived by her husband, John B. Freeman of Lebanon; a son, John Bradford (Dana) Freeman of Hermitage; daughter, Delaine Freeman (C.K.) Smith of Watertown; brother, Thomas Lester (Polly) Bradford of Burns; grandchildren, Justin F. Davis, Caitlin Freeman, Kayla Freeman, Winston F. Davis, McClain F. Davis, Shelby Freeman, Matthew Freeman; step-grandchildren, C.K. Smith, Jr. Justin Smith and Courtney Smith Cimino; numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Mrs. Freeman were held in the College Hills Church of Christ, Saturday, May 26, at 1 p.m. Visitation was held Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and before the services on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. dr. Larry Locke and Brother Ted Waller officiated. Burial followed at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers were Justin F. Davis, Winston Davis, Charlie Bryan, Will Daly, Charles Moody and Robert McGwier.

Honorary pallbearers were The Birthday Girls, Hearthside Board, members of the Year Round Garden Club, Dr. Paul and Alex Dedick, Lewisburg High School Class of 1957, Walking Horse Buddies and Dr. Tammy Collins.
