The Tennessee Nutrition and Consumer Education Coalition, a program through University of Tennessee Extension, Lewisburg Housing Authority and the Marshall County Health Department hosted an End of School Bash on May 25, at the George Turner Building.

Over 60 children and adults enjoyed games, exhibits, and nutritious foods. Adults were given recipes for quick, nutritious meals and information on TennderCare, a free well-check program provided for children through the Marshall County Health Department.

Everyone got to sample Big Orange Burgers, fruit kabobs and icees made from fruit juice.
