Marshall County High School class of 2008 Parent Club is holding an ongoing cell phone fundraiser to raise money for the 2008 Prom. Used cell phones can be dropped off at the Lewisburg Recreation Center, Mooresville Highway, Lewisburg, which is open daily. They may also be dropped off on June 23, at Nappa Auto Parts, West Commerce St., Lewisburg. For more information, call Belinda Mangum at 359-6425.

Cornersville First Baptist Church will have a gospel singing on Saturday, June 23, at 6 p.m. featuring the Revelators. Fellowship to follow.

The Berlin Volunteer Fire Dept. will hold a fundraiser on June 23, beginning at 5 p.m. Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Fries, Cold Drinks, Ice Cream and Homemade Baked Goods at Berlin Spring, across from the Berlin Store, if it should rain, the event will be held at the Berlin Fire Hall.

Glenn's Chapel United Methodist Church, Highway 431 between Franklin and Lewisburg, will hold its regular monthly gospel singing Saturday, June 23, beginning at 7 p.m. Groups to sing include The Galileans of Fairview, TN and The Encouragers of Florence, AL. The public is invited.

Brown Teal Road Baptist Church in Howell, welcomes the Ward Family, singing on Sunday, June 24 at 1:30 p.m.

Caney Springs Pentacostal Holiness Assembly will celebrate Homecoming on June 24 beginning at 10 a.m. Speakers are Steve and Nancy Vanhook, singers are Lord's Servants.

On June 27, Dr. Marie Gorski, a surgeon on the medical staff at Maury Regional Hospital, will discuss cancer screening in women at noon in the Auxiliary Conference Room at Maury Regional Hospital. The Gospel Music Fellowship Association will holds its monthly singing on June 30, from 5 to 9 p.m. at God's Refuge Church, 1131 Mapleash Ave. near Tom J. Hitch Rd. in Columbia, 5 soloists and 5 groups. Free admission. Concessions available. Call 931-388-6344 for more information.

The Marshall County Civil Air Patrol meets at Ellington Airport every Monday night from 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Bosom Buddies meet the third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Marshall Medical Center conference room. Everyone is welcome.
