A Decoration Service will be held Sunday, July 8, at 2 p.m. at the Smotherman Cemetery in the Midland community. Brother Darryl Lewis will be the guest speaker.

The Official GED Practice Test will be given in Lewisburg on Thursday, July 12, at 8:30 a.m. This test is a state requirement for all candidates planning to take the official GED exam. The test is provided free of charge by the Marshall County Adult Learning Center located at Spot Lowe Vocational and Technical School. A photo ID is required. Plan to stay approximately 5 hours. Chapel Hill United Methodist Church will hold a fish fry fundraiser on Saturday, July 14, at 5 p.m. Cost is $10, catered by Russell Vending.

MCHS Class of 1987 will meet July 20, at 6 p.m. at Casa Blanco to discuss their upcoming 20th reunion.

The Marshall County Civil Air Patrol meets at Ellington Airport every Monday night from 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Bosom Buddies meet the third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Marshall Medical Center conference room. Everyone is welcome.

Tennessee Voices for Children, a support group for parents who have a child with an emotional or behavioral disorder, meets the third Thursday of each month 6:30-8 p.m. at the First Assembly of God, 1191 West Ellington Parkway. For more information call Kim Young at 931-560-3088.
