Melvin Graham, 85, of Nashville, died Thursday, July 12, 2007, at his home.
Mr. Graham was a native of Collinsville, Texas. He was the son of the late Mary Madora Garrison Graham and Melvin Graham, Sr. He served in the Army Air Corp during W.W. II and was a 50-year member of the American Legion. Mr. Graham retired in 1986 after 47 years of service with Avco Corp. of Nashville. He was a member of Aerostructures Machinist Union.
Mr. Graham was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Brown Graham, who died in July 2005.
He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Graham (Terry) Wilson and Juanita Graham (Bill) Hutcherson, both of Nashville; a son, Donald Melvin Graham of Nashville; a sister, Ruby Dell Charlton of Jacksonville, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Visitation was held Sunday, July 15, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m. from the chapel with Rev. Don Robinson officiating. Burial followed in Simpson Cemetery in Bedford County.
Family members served as pallbearers.
