Youth Football & Cheerleading signups

Marshall County Youth Football League will have sign-ups for football and cheerleading AND football try-outs this Saturday, July 21, 2007 at the MCHS Jack Keny Building.  Everyone that signs up will get to participate; the football try-outs are for drafting the children to a team.  Please be prepared to pay the league fees and bring a copy of your child's birth certificate.  Please call Lisa Qualls if you have questions (293-3908).

The try-out schedule for Saturday is as follows: 

Based on your child's age on July 31: 

Pee Wee 5-6 years old 9 a.m.

Junior division 7-9 years old 11:30 a.m.

Based on your child's age on August 31 - Senior division 10-12 years old 2 p.m.

Shotgun start at 1 p.m.

Lunch and driving range open at 11:30a.m.

Door prizes, closest to pin and putting contest. Entry fee is $60 per person and includes green fees, carts, range balls and lunch.

Hunter safety course

A Hunter Safety Course will be held July 30 -- Aug. 3 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the National Guard Armory. For more information call Doug Lowery at 659-6786.
