According to Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's (TBI) Director of Communications, Kristin Helm, the door to the business was locked and family was called in to open the door for local police.
When the bodies were discovered, Lewisburg Police called in TBI to handle the crime scene.
"Most cities will turn over [to TBI] this type of investigation because they just don't have the staff to process the crime scene," said Lewisburg Chief of Police Doug Alexander.
TBI's mobile crime scene responded to the business and gathered evidence for approximately five hours.
An autopsy of the bodies was scheduled for 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31. As of press time, no information as to the cause of death had been released.
