Hazel Davis Holland, age 88, of Chapel Hill, Tenn., died Thurs., Aug. 16, 2007 in Nashville, Tenn.

A daughter of the late William Oscar and Esther Ellen Lamb Holland, she was a homemaker and a member of Promise United Methodist Church. Holland was preceded in death by her husband, Alford Myrel Holland, who died in 2000, and by a grandson, Jeff Curtis as well as two sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by three daughters, Wanda Ector of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; Martha Etheridge of Smyrna, Tenn.; and Brenda Buhler of Hendersonville, Tenn.; a sister, Reda Ferguson of Chapel Hill, Tenn.; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation was Aug. 17, will services conducted on Aug. 18, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Interment followed at Cromer-Blackwell Cemetery in Marshall County.

Lawrence Funeral Home and Cremations Services was in charge of the arrangements.
