Phyllis Diane Sherrill Darnell, 57, of Lawrenceburg, died on Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, in Lexington, Ala.

She was preceded in death by her father, Huit Houston Sherrill; mother, Daisy Sherrill; son Phillip Ray Darnell; sister, Connie Hyatt; and granddaughter, Kelsy Lee Parker.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Aug. 25 at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial following in Scotts Hill Cemetery, Mark Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
