Sept. 1 from 9 to 11 a.m. -- Labor; Sept. 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. -- Delivery; Sept. 15 from 9 to 11 a.m. -- Post Partum; Sept. 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. -- Baby Basics; and Sept. 22 from 9 to 11 a.m. -- Infant CPR. Jennifer Green, RN, will be the instructor.

The office of City Hall in Cornersville will be closed on Monday, Sept. 3, in observance of Labor Day. The office will re-open on Tuesday, Sept. 4 at the regular hour of 8 a.m.

GED class, orientation, enrollment and testing will be held Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 8:30 a.m., or Tuesday and Thursday, Sept. 4 and 6 at 6 p.m. in the Marshall County Adult Learning Center. Plan to stay three hours each on Tuesday and Thursday, or six hours on Wednesday.

Catfish Dinner -- Forrest High School will be holding a catfish dinner from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 21 before the Homecoming game at their new field to raise money for the athletic department. The cost is $10 per person. Tickets are on sale now.
