Orr-Hobbs announce engagement

Miss Madelyn Kathleen Orr and her fiance, Jason Clark Hobbs

Kathleen Bliven Orr of Columbia Tenn., and David Carl Orr of Mooresville, Tenn. announce the engagement of their daughter, Madelyn Kathleen Orr, to Jason Clark Hobbs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dean Hobbs of Lynnville.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Linda Orr and the late Wayne Orr of Lewisburg, and Muriel Bliven and the late Max Wayne Bliven of Livonia, Mich. Madelyn is a 2003 graduate of Spring Hill High School and a 2006 graduate of Columbia State Community College, where she holds a degree in Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician. She works for Williamson County Animal Hospital in Franklin.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Meade Hopkins of Pulaski, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hobbs of Lynnville. He is a 1997 graduate of Cornersville High School and a 1999 graduate of Tennessee Technology Center, where he hold a degree as a Title 1 Machinist.

He is currently employed by the Rogers Group in Columbia.

Madelyn and Jason will exchange vows on Sept. 15, at the First United Methodist Church in Lewisburg.
