The Forrest Lady Rockets withstood a determined Tigerette Squad Thursday night in Chapel Hill, coming away with a 6-2 victory. The Tigerettes came off the bus from Lewisburg on a mission and held an early 2-1 lead before Forrest turned up the heat on offense, scoring five consecutive goals.
Amanda Evans opened the scoring on a great pass from Brianda Elmore for her first goal of the season, sophomores Taylour Allen and Anna Wiser scored two goals apiece, and Heather Collins netted her second goal of the year on a penalty kick.
Kaitlyn Pung scored the first goal of the 2007 campaign for the Tigerettes and Elisa Raffo nailed a penalty kick for the second of Marshall County's two goals in the contest.
