A month has passed since two Lewisburg residents were found dead in their store on West Commerce Street, and while there may not be much mystery left in what happened, the landlord and former customers are left in the lurch.

Former customers of the now-closed SmartWay Sell-n-Ship office have asked about the merchandise the business was handling for them, but the building's owner, Sherrell McConnell, says, "I won't release anything until I'm told that I can and to whom."

Terry and Mary Foster operated an Internet sales service and packing and shipping business at 1440 Mooresville Highway until July 30. Police found them dead inside the locked building at about 1:40 p.m. Mary Foster had suffered trauma to her face and head. Her husband suffered a laceration to the left side of his neck.
