William "Bill" England

William "Bill" England, age 69, of Chapel Hill, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, at Marshall Medical Center in Lewisburg. A native of Nashville, England was a son of the late William McKeel and Maymie Pardue England. He was a self-employed machinist.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Kalish.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Groves England of Chapel Hill; two daughters, Pam Fagan of Nashville and Melinda Campbell of Lewisburg; six sons, Kenneth England of Carthage, William England, Jr., Tony and Kevin England all of Nashville, Randy England of Coal City, Ill. and James Witherspoon of Chapel Hill; four sisters, Shirley Morton of Murfreesboro, Evelyn Hillard of Smyrna, Martha Ritchie of Lebanon, and Elizabeth Eady of Nashville; one brother, Ricky England of Murfreesboro; 17 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 31, from 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 1, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Frankie Litetri officiating. Interment will follow at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
