Katie Reed Classic

On Saturday, Sept. 8, 140 plus golfers will gather at Henry Horton Golf Course for the Eighth Annual Katie Reed Golf Classic to benefit the College Grove Senior Enrichment Center. Player registration begins at 7 a.m., with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Cost per player is $90. Cash prizes for first, second and third place for each of the three flights. There will also be longest drive, closest to the pin and putting contests. For more information, call 615-368-7093.

Golf tourney set 

The 6th Annual MCHS Tigerettes Softball Golf Tournament will be held Labor Day Sept. 3 at the Lewisburg Recreation Center Golf Course. The sign up sheet for teams is now up at the club house. There will be two flights during the day with cash prizes and door prizes to be won during the day. All proceeds go to the MCHS softball team. Please come out and support your 2007-2008 MCHS Softball Team.
