The Town of Chapel Hill Beer Board will hold a special called meeting at 9 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 24, at the Chapel Hill Police and Fire Department, 119 N. Horton Pkwy, to consider the beer permit request made by Ashraf S. Khalil and Amir S. Sadek to be located at 4640 Nashville Highway in Chapel Hill.

The Marshall County Beer Board will meet at 5 p.m. on Sept. 24, in room 2209 of the County Courthouse Annex to approve the application for on and off-premise permit for Brenda Lemley at 3981 Fayetteville Hwy in Petersburg.

Marshall County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 24. Their regular scheduled meeting will follow at 6 p.m. See the legal ad for agenda information.

The Lewisburg Recreation Board will hold their regular scheduled monthly meeting Monday, Sept. 24, at 6:30 p.m., at the Lewisburg Recreation Center, 1551 Mooresville Hwy in the large meeting room.

Lewisburg Electric System's Board of Public Utilities will hold their regular monthly meeting on Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. at the LES office, 599 W. Ellington Pkwy. Meeting is open to the public.

The Community Development Board of the City of Lewisburg will hold their regular scheduled monthly meeting Tuesday, Sept. 25, at noon, at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church Street.

The Marshall County Showground's Advisory Committee will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 5:30 p.m. at the Marshall County Courthouse Annex Building, Room 2209. The agenda will include Grounds clean up deposits, Grounds security, Building Clean up and maintenance, Barn gates installation and how to increase property usage.

The Mayor and City Council of the City of Lewisburg will hold a work session to discuss personnel issues, Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 4 p.m. at Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church Street.

The Marshall County Codes, Roads and Liaison Committees will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 5:30 p.m. at the Marshall County Codes Office, located at 230 College Street, Suite 160, in Lewisburg.

The Town of Chapel Hill Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 1, at the Chapel Hill Police and Fire Department, 119 North Horton Parkway to consider the proposed changes to the Chapel Hill Subdivision Regulations and Zoning Ordinance. The regular board meeting will take place immediately following the public hearing.

A public hearing, addressing the landfill expansion, will be held before the Solid Waste Regional Board on Oct. 9, at 5:30 pm, 2204 Courthouse Annex, in Lewisburg.
