The First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall was the site of a tea for Miss Leah Haywood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Haywood, on Aug. 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. Leah is the bride-to-be of Daniel Everett Studd of Murfreesboro. More than fifty friends and family members attended the tea. Hostesses were Merirae Jackson, Cindy Powell, Joan Carter, Kim Davis, Alice Donahue, Sandra Chambers, Patty Hill and Nancy Aldridge. Miss Haywood received a wonderful variety of gifts. Perhaps the most notable was from her aunt, Jackie Haywood Gower, who wrapped photographs of Leah and her great grandfather, Jack Moore, both of whom were adorned in the same christening gown. The gown itself completed the memorable gift, which Leah will now have for her own children. Leah and Daniel will marry on Oct. 6 at First Baptist Church in Lewisburg.
