Local support makes the Goats, Music and More Festival a success
The Goats, Music and More Festival is just around the corner on Oct. 12 and 13 at Rock Creek Park, and once again local businesses and other local donors are doing their share to make this year's festival the best yet.
The Goats, Music and More Festival is free and open to the public each year allowing folks to not only enjoy the goat shows, great food, fun activities and events, but also two full nights of amazing entertainment. Each year, all of this is made possible thanks to the sponsors and donors from within the community that see the Goats, Music and More Festival as a great opportunity to share Lewisburg and Marshall County with visitors from across the country and from around the world.
"We simply could not do this each year without our sponsors," said GMMF Fundraising Chair Lisa Jackson. "We are so lucky to live in a community like this where people are willing to give of their time and their money to support the Goats, Music and More Festival."
Jackson said she thanks each and every sponsor and donor for helping to bring more food, fun, events and top-notch entertainment to the 5th Annual Goats, Music and More Festival.
This year, the first day on Friday ends with Billy Joe Royal, B.J. Thomas and the Classic Rock All-Stars taking the main stage. Saturday night, Exile, Ricochet and John Anderson close the festival with a string of hits sure to keep the crowd singing and "Swinging."
The City of Lewisburg and the Goats, Music and More Festival Committee would like to thank all the sponsors who have once again helped to make this year's festival one not to be missed.
