The Marshall County Young Farmers and Ranchers will be hosting a Haunted Woods every Friday and Saturday in October from dark till 11 p.m.  The cost is $10.  Proceeds benefit an annual scholarship for a graduating senior.  They are located in Chapel Hill.  Turn by the post office and follow the signs.  Not recommended for children under the age of 13.

UT Extension Service Marshall County will be conducting Beef Quality Assurance Certification on Oct. 11. Two meeting times will be offered: 1:30 p.m. or 6 p.m. You need to attend only one meeting. Any questions regarding this program can be addressed to your county agent at 359-1929.

There will a Gospel Singing at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church on Saturday night, Oct. 13, beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Featured singers will The Masters Four (Kevin Turner's group) from Pulaski.


A Fall Festival will be held at Promise United Methodist Church in Hope Corner on Oct. 13. Free food will be offered from 3 to 6 p.m. with games for children, a hayride and more. A Gospel singing will follow.

MCHS Class of 1997 will be having its ten-year reunion on Oct. 13.  Go to or call 615-476-5540 for information. Group photos from high school for a slide show can be dropped off at Brandon and Brandon Law Office in Lewisburg.  Please include your name and address on the back so they can be returned to you.

The Bedford County Southern Tennessee Daycare Association is sponsoring it's annual Fall Workshop on Saturday, Oct. 13th at the Shelbyville Tennessee Technology Center from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Six hours of in-service training will be provided by Betty Ann Olgivie, Alice Johnson and The Field's Family.  The cost is $20, lunch is included.  For reservations contact Vivian Bynum at 931-389-7069.
