The Marshall County Young Farmers and Ranchers will be hosting a Haunted Woods every Friday and Saturday in October from dark till 11 p.m. The cost is $10. Proceeds benefit an annual scholarship for a graduating senior. They are located in Chapel Hill. Turn by the post office and follow the signs. Not recommended for children under the age of 13.
There will be a Gospel Singing at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church on Saturday night, Oct. 13, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Featured singers will The Masters Four (Kevin Turner's group) from Pulaski.
A Fall Festival will be held at Promise United Methodist Church in Hope Corner on Oct. 13. Free food will be offered from 3 to 6 p.m. with games for children, a hayride and more. A gospel singing will follow.
