The Student Council came up with the idea to have Homecoming days that represented different years. Wednesday was 50s/60s Day with students participating by wearing leather jackets, poodle skirts, and rolled-up jeans. The 70s were represented on Thursday with tons of tie-dyed shirts, peace signs, and bell bottoms. Friday saw the school honor the 80s (the teachers truly enjoyed this one!) with lots of big hair, bright colors and stone-washed jeans. Monday was 90s Day; hip hop, grunge, and preppy attire took everyone back those many years.
Tuesday was declared Blue and White Day in honor of the LMS Tigers. The day was filled with Homely Homecoming, Homecoming Olympics, the annual Scavenger Hunt, and, of course, the Homecoming Pep Rally. All these activities led up to a big win by the Lewisburg Middle School Tigers on Tuesday night.
A huge thank you goes to all the students, staff, administration, and all those who help make a Blast from the Past Homecoming a huge success.
