Arzell Hill, Sr., age 74, died Nov. 3 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia.

One son, Arzell Hill, Jr.; three sisters, Sadie Smith, Emma Mayfield and Lillian Brooks; and two brothers, Fred Hill, Jr., and Huey Hill, preceded him in death.

He was a construction worker and an employee of the Marshall County school system.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Lee Hill of Lewisburg; two brothers, Walter Hill of St. Louis, Mo. and Jasper K. Hill of South Bend, Ind.; four stepsons, Paul W, Wright (Diane) of Lewisburg, Randy Hargrove (Debbie) of Toledo, Ohio, Ricky Meecham (Debbie) of Murfreesboro and Jimmy Meecham (Cindy) of Chapel Hill; twelve stepchildren; five step-great grandchildren and a host of friends.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7p.m. on Nov. 9 at the Lewisburg Family Life Center. Funeral services will be from 1 -- 2 p.m. at same on Nov. 10. Burial will follow at Cook Memorial Cemetery in Lewisburg.
