The Marshall County Solid Waste Committee will meet on Nov. 13, at 6:30 p.m. in the environmental coordinator's office, Hardison Office Annex, 230 College St.

The Chapel Hill Park and Recreation Board will be holding their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 6 p.m. at the Chapel Hill Police and Fire Department, 119 North Horton Parkway.

The Marshall County Election Committee will meet at 10 a.m. on Nov. 13 at the Hardison Office Annex, 230 College St., Suite 120.

Chapel Hill Board of Mayor and Aldermen will hold a public hearing at 5 p.m. on Nov. 13 at the Chapel Hill Police and Fire Department, 119 North Horton Parkway, to hear public concerns on the second reading of Ordinance No. 07-10, an ordinance to amend the official zoning ordinance of the town, as amended, regarding corner lots, site plans requirements and dust control. The board will hold their regular monthly meeting immediately following the public hearing.

The City of Lewisburg will hold a public hearing at 5:55 p.m. on Nov. 13 at Lewisburg City Hall to hear public opinion and comments concerning Ordinance 07-12.

Cornersville will have a public hearing at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15, at City Hall in Cornersville. This meeting is open to the public and all citizens are welcome. The following subjects will be discussed: grant proposal for CDBG grant, expand urban growth boundaries along Hwy. 31-A, and annexation of property on Lynnville Hwy. into the Cornersville city limits.

The Lewisburg Gas Department will have their regular monthly meeting at 5 p.m. on Nov. 19 at 505 Ellington Parkway.

The Lewisburg Water and Sewer Board will meet in regular session at 4 p.m. on Nov. 15 in the board room at 100 Water St.

The next meeting of the Marshall County Veterans Committee will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 29 in the conference room, 230 College St.
