Mrs. Bettie Ruth Lancaster, age 77, of Lewisburg, died Sunday morning at Marshall Medical Center.
Mrs. Lancaster was a native of Maury County, the daughter of the late Alvie Marson and Charlotte Mildred Ring Clymore. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church Street Church of Christ.
She is survived by husband of 59 years, Brandon Lancaste;, two sons, Gary (Theresa) Lancaster of Lewisburg, and Jackie (Rhonda) Lancaster of Germantown, Texas; and two brothers, Charles (Edna) Clymore of Columbia, and Paul Clymore of Lewisburg. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Melanie (Todd) Hammond, Brandee Lancaster, Nathan, Jasen and Conner Lancaster; and one great-grandchild, Victoria Hammond. She was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Murphy, and a brother Harvey Clymore.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with Charles Williamson officiating. Burial to follow in the Lone Oak Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jeff Crick, Bobby Winsett, Bud Taylor, Kenny Clymore, Bobby Lee Davis and Todd Hammonds.
Visitation with the family was held on Monday at 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and continued on Tuesday until the funeral hour.
