Mrs. Edith Earlene McCormick, age 85, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, Nov. 17, in NHC Oakwood.
Mrs. McCormick was the daughter of the late J. Earl and Minnie Sullivan Black. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church St. Church of Christ.
She is survived by a son, Jackie McCormick of Lewisburg, and two sisters, Erma Terry, and Ruth Black, both of Decatur, Ala.
Three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin McCormick and a son, Mack McCormick.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with Charles Williamson officiating. Burial to follow in the Lone Oak Cemetery with pallbears Chuck McCormick, Chad McCormick, Chris McCormick, Bobby McCormick, Joey Brandon and Alfred Wakefield.
Visitation with the family was held Monday from 5-8 p.m. and continued until the funeral hour on Tuesday.
