Mr. Arzell Hill Sr., 74, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tenn.

Funeral services were Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Lewisburg Family Life Center. Burial was in Cook Memorial Cemetery in Lewisburg.

Mr. Hill was a construction worker and an employee of the Marshall County school system until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by a son, Arzell Hill Jr.; three sisters, Sadie Smith, Emma Mayfield and Lillian Brooks; and two brothers, Fred Hill Jr. and Huey Hill.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Lee Hill of Lewisburg; two brothers, Walter Hill of St. Louis and Jasper K. Hill of South Bend, Ind.; four step-sons, Paul W. (Diane) Wright of Lewisburg, Randy (Debbie) Hargrove of Toledo, Ohio, Ricky (Debbie) Meecham of Murfreesboro, and Jimmy (Cindy) Meecham of Chapel Hill, Tenn.; 12 step-children; five step-great grandchildren; and a host of friends.
