First Commerce board promotes Lambert and Delk

The Board of Directors of First Commerce Bank has announced two promotions after their November meeting. Richard Lambert, vice president and marketing officer, was promoted to senior vice president, and loan officer. David Delk, Chapel Hill branch manager, was promoted to assistant vice president.

Lambert is a graduate of David Lipscomb University with majors both in finance/economics and business management. He graduated from the Southeastern School of Banking at Vanderbilt University with honors and from Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking. He has been with First Commerce Bank since its inception, bringing 11 years of financial services experience. He and his wife Shannon are the parents of Maddux and Knox.

Chairman of the Board Bill Marsh said, "Richard's many contributions to our bank's growth and progress have been invaluable and the board's action is well deserved."

Delk joined the bank in 2003. He is a graduate of the Citadel and the Southeastern School of Banking at Vanderbilt University. He and his wife Larissa have a daughter, Sydney.

Chief Operating Officer Eddie Wiles said, "David has been a quick study in learning the many aspects of banking. We are pleased to have him on the staff."
