Wayne Lee Beard

Mr. Beard was a native of Lincoln County. He was retired from Inter City Products.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude William and Mable Lorene Beard; wife, Kathie McCollum Beard, in December of 2006; and sister, Brenda Maria Duckworth.

He is survived by two sons, Johnny Beard of Wheel and Jimmy Beard of Belfast; daughter, Joanne Beard of Manchester; two sisters, Mary Ellen Duncan and Kay Lynn Talley, both of Petersburg; three brothers, Thomas Larry Beard, Robert Edward "Bobby" Beard and William Rufus Beard, all of Petersburg; three grandchildren; and four step grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Round Hill Cemetery.

The family will be at London Funeral Home Wednesday until the funeral hour for visitation.
