The Industrial Development Board of the City of Lewisburg will meet at noon Monday, Dec. 3, in the Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church St.

The Town of Chapel Hill Beer Board will hold a work session at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at the Chapel Hill Police and Fire Department, 119 N. Horton Parkway, to discuss an ordinance to allow on-premises consumption of alcohol and other business.

The Town of Chapel Hill Planning Commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at the Chapel Hill Police and Fire Department, 119 North Horton Parkway.

The Town of Cornersville will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at Cornersville City Hall to amend the Urban Growth Boundaries along U.S. Highway 31A. A second public hearing concerning the amendment of the Urban Growth Boundaries will be held Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. at city hall.

The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Lewisburg will hold a special called meeting at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, in City Hall, 131 E. Church St., for the purpose of considering and taking action on a request for final plat approval for Holly Grove Estates, Section 3 (Joanne Circle and Saxon Lane).

The Town of Cornersville Board of Mayor and Aldermen will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at City Hall in Cornersville. This meeting is open to the public.

The Elk Valley Forestry Association will hold its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at the Cleghorne Center, 77 Clark Ave., Fayetteville. Dr. Adam Taylor of the University of Tennessee will speak on bio-mass and its connection to forestry. A meal will be provided. For more information call the Fire Tower at 931-270-2244.

The Town of Cornersville will hold a public meeting Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 3 p.m. at the Cornersville City Hall to discuss the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program administered by the Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development. The purpose of this meeting is to review the guidelines of the program and to solicit input from area residents regarding potential uses of CDBG funds.

The South Central Tennessee Advisory Council on Aging and Disability will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, in the Columbia City Hall second floor council chambers, 707 N. Main St., Columbia.
