Dylan Jones and Janice Fagan hold some of the bite-sized cooking apples grown by Fagan's twin sister, Janie Peek, of the Wheel community. Fagan says her sister was mowing the yard a couple of weeks ago when she noticed several of the diminutive apples lying on the ground. Normally, she adds, the trees bear full-sized fruit in June and July. 'Those trees have been there a long time, but this is the first time they've ever done anything like this,' Fagan says.
