Gary O'Neal

Mr. Gary O'Neal, 53, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, at his residence in Lewisburg after an extended illness.

Mr. O'Neal was a native of Marshall County and a member of Liggett Street Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lois O'Neal and Howard Smith; three sisters, Carolyn Allen, Helen Hampton and Judy O'Neal; and four brothers, James W. O'Neal, Robert Lee O'Neal, Olando O'Neil and James Anthony O'Neal.

He is survived by his estranged wife, Tammy O'Neal; former wife Renee O'Neal-Martin; son, Gary Dejuan O'Neal; four sisters, Brenda Johnson of Nashville, Jackie Gentry, Valerie O'Neal and Latosha O'Neal, all of Lewisburg; brother, Timothy O'Neal of Lewisburg; special friend, Marie Puryear; four grandchildren; two uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Mr. O'Neal lay in state at the Lewisburg Family Life Center on Thursday, Dec. 13.

Visitation is at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. at Liggett Street Church of God.
