Carl E. Harris
Mr. Carl E. Harris, 75, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, in Louisville, Ky.
Mr. Harris was a native of Marshall Country and a member of Watkins United Methodist Church. He was retired from Stork Technology and recently worked as senior materials specialist for Donan Engineering. Mr. Harris was an avid tennis player and an active member of the USTA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hughie Carl Harris and Nell Harmon Harris.
He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Linda Ross Harris; one daughter, Wendy Hackett of Hendersonville; two sons, Clay Harris and Scott Harris, both of Mentor, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Marian Hogan of Shelbyville; one stepson, Dr. Mark Henderson of Louisville, Ky.; two sisters, Joyce Cummings of Spencer and Mary Lou Tingler of Chapel Hill; one brother, Earl Harris of Murfreesboro; five grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.
Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, Dec. 14, at Webb Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Funeral services are at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 15, at the funeral home.
