The City of Lewisburg Alcoholic Beverage Commission will meet at 1 p.m., Monday, Dec. 17, at City Hall, 131 East Church St., to consider an application to sell beer for off-premise consumption at the K&S Market, 1175 North Ellington Pkwy.

The Marshall County Board of Public Utilities will hold its regular monthly board meeting at 9 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 18, in the conference room at 624 West Commerce St. The public is invited to attend.

The Mayor and City Council will hold a workshop at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 18 at the Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church St.

Marshall County Democrats will meet at 5 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 18, at the First National Bank, 1190 North Ellington Pkwy.

The Town of Chapel Hill Beer Board will hold a special meeting at 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 20, at the Chapel Hill Police and Fire Department, 119 N. Horton Pkwy, to consider the beer permit request for Park Market, 4364 Nashville Hwy, made by Keshar Inc.

The Lewisburg Water and Sewer Board will meet in regular session at 4 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 20, in the boardroom at 100 Water Street.

The City of Lewisburg will hold a public meeting at 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 28, at the City Hall to discuss Community Development Block Grants.

The Board of Commissioners of Marshall County will meet in special session at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 2, in Room 2204 of the Marshall County Courthouse Annex.

The Town of Chapel Hill Beer Board and the Board of Mayor and Aldermen will hold a work session at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan, 8, at the Chapel Hill Police and Fire Department, 119 N. Horton Pkwy, to discuss Ordinance No. 07-11 which allows on-premises consumption, and any other business.

The Chapel Hill Youth Football League will hold its monthly meeting at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the Forrest High Field House. This meeting is open to the public.

The Town of Cornersville will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at City Hall in Cornersville to amend its Urban Growth Boundary on the north side of the Lynnville Highway and the half parcels on the east side of Hwy. 31-A South.

This meeting is open to the public and all citizens are welcome.

The Marshall County offices in the Courthouse Annex, Courthouse and Hardison Office Annex will be closed for the holidays, Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24 and 25, and Tuesday, Jan. 1.

All Lewisburg City offices will be closed for the holidays, Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24 and 25. The Monday's garbage route will be picked up the following Thursday. The Tuesday's garbage route will be picked up the following Friday.

The Chapel Hill City offices will be closed for the holidays, Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24 and 25, and Tuesday, Jan. 1

The Christmas break for the Marshall County School system has been adjusted. The updated schedule is: Friday, Dec. 21, short day; Monday, Dec. 24 to Tuesday, Jan. 8, holiday break; Wednesday, Jan. 9, students return to school.
