Rockets fall short in World tourney

The 47th Annual World Tournament ended Saturday night in Chapel Hill with the Forrest Middle School Rockets taking second place and the seven-year reign of popular head coach Todd Garrison coming to a close.

The Rockets lost the final to Sunset Middle School 39-34 in a gallant effort to send their coach off with a final victory and a tournament trophy. Garrison is relocating back to his home state of Kentucky.

Garrison and his wife are both Kentucky natives and graduates of Western Kentucky University. After the game he said....for the full story, please pick up a December 19th edition.
