Brody Griffin and Millo share a special moment together. A golden retriever, Millo is a highly trained service dog whose specialty is assisting children with autism. Brody, the adopted son of Wendy and Bubba Griffin of Lewisburg, has been diagnosed with Fragile X syndrome, which is the most common gene cause of autism. Millo, who responds to 70 commands, helps to calm Brody and to give him an alternative for the repetitive and sometimes harmful behaviors associated with autism.
