A woman who was raised in Marshall County was arrested Thursday night on charges stemming from the stabbing death of a Nashville man who tried to stop a purse snatching

Murder suspects Robert Williams and Stephanie Hudson, who are wanted for Tuesday afternoon's murder of Jerry McEwen outside the Kroger store on East Thompson Lane in Nashville, were taken into custody at Jackson, Miss.

Members of the U.S. Marshal's Gulf Coast Regional Task Force arrested Williams and Hudson without incident just after 5:30 p.m. at 357 East Ridge Way, the home of Williams' sister.

Williams and Hudson will be held without bond in Jackson pending extradition proceedings.
