Donna Lamb

Mrs. Donna Lamb, 51, of Chapel Hill, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, in Columbia.

Mrs. Lamb was a native of Marshall County, a homemaker and a member of Chapel Hill Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Allen "Bill" Wilson.

She is survived by her mother, Dot Wilson of Chapel Hill; two daughters, Jennifer Pagan of Carlsbad, Calif., and Rebecca Lamb of Chapel Hill; two sons, Joshua Lamb of Chapel Hill and David Lamb of Los Alamitos, Calif.; a sister, Gayle Curtis of Chapel Hill; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Dec. 26, at the Chapel Hill Church of Christ, with Stan Butt Jr. officiating, followed by burial in Swanson Cemetery, Chapel Hill.

Memorial donations may be made to the Chapel Hill Church of Christ building fund.

Lawrence Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Kathy Lynn Gates

Mrs. Kathy Lynn Gates, 49, of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007, at Williamson Medical Center.

Mrs. Gates was a line technician for General Motors Corporation.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Graysen Gates.

She is survived by her parents, Cleatous and Sue Norris of Columbia; ex-husband, William Gates and mother-in-law Margaret Gates of Lewisburg; daughter, Elizabeth Gates of Lewisburg; son, Ben Gates of Columbia; three sisters, Karen (Gary) Bridges and Pam Jackson of Lewisburg and Donna (John) Stone of Waterford, Mich.; special friend, A. J. Drake of Lewisburg; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was conducted on Thursday, Dec. 27, from the Chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Rev. Steven McCollum officiating.

Robbie Porter Cooksey

Mrs. Robbie Porter Cooksey, 82, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007, at Maury Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Cooksey was a native of Carthage, Tenn., co-owner of Cooksey Auto Parts and a member of the Lewisburg First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Dave and Willie Ester Woodard Porter.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Cooksey, Sr., and son, Randy Cooksey, both of Lewisburg; sister, Jean Bailey of Carthage; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 28, in Lone Oak Cemetery.
