Elbert Cashion
Mr. Elbert "Ebb" Cashion, 90, of Petersburg, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, at his residence.
Mr. Cashion was a native of Lincoln County. He was a carpenter and a farmer, an Army veteran, and a member of the American Legion and the Bledsoe "Po-Grab" Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin Forrest and Frances Isabell Sanders Cashion; two sisters, Mattie Burns and Verna Hart; and five brothers, Joe, Mac, Allen, Mitchell and T.D. Cashion.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Gault Cashion; son, John (Kay) Cashion; two daughters, Debbie (Buford) Patrick and Cheryl (Richard) Alexander; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Thursday, Jan. 3, at the Gallant Funeral Home Chapel, followed by burial in Old Orchard Cemetery.
