Delinquency petition anticipated because of juvenile in custody
FARMINGTON - A man is recovering from stab wounds suffered Saturday morning at his mobile home, where he'd been dancing with a girl from his neighbor's trailer, according to his mother.
The mobile home park is located southwest of where Shelbyville Highway (State Route 64) intersects with Nashville Pike (U.S. 31-A).
Gerald "Jerry" Michael Watterson , 21, of 2648 Nashville Highway, has been released from Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was taken by helicopter ambulance after being examined at Marshall Medical Center, according to his mother.
"He had a collapsed lung and nicked spleen," said Karen Watterson, who lives in the same mobile home park. She said her son had not returned home as of Monday and is staying with friends in the vicinity.
